City Garden

The Door of Return was built in 2001 by a Japanese artist Kan Yasuda.  The egg shape at the top of the door shows a seed that has just split open or a mouth that is open to the sky.  He wants you to think about....When you walk through the door what location are we returning to?

Zenit was built in 1999 by an Italian artist Mimmo Paladino.  This was built of steel and aluminum,  This seems to also be a place for homeless people to sleep peacefully see the back corner on the ground.

Berner Venet, French artist built this sculpture in 1999. All her art is based on mathematics and they are bent in mathematical angles.

Eros Bendato was built by a German artist Igor Mitoraj.  This was built to resemble the Greek god of love and desire.  The bandages on his face over his eyes and mouth  shows the desires and ideas have been imprisoned.

La Riviere was built in bronze by Aristide Maillol, French artist  between 1938-1943.  This photo really depicts a beautiful fall day with the pumpkins in the background.
